Recap: Fulshear Chargers vs. Foster Falcons

The Fulshear Chargers entered their tilt with the Foster Falcons with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Fulshear escaped with a win on Friday against Foster by the margin of a single free throw, 43-42. Given Fulshear's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Foster is ranked 359th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fulshear got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kinzie Searcy out in front who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Jada Morgan was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

Fulshear's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-5. As for Foster, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fulshear will take on Lamar Consolidated at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lamar Consolidated focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 36 last Tuesday. As for Foster, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Randle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Randle has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 620 points over their last nine games.
