Basketball Game Preview: Harmony Area Owls vs. West Branch Warriors

The Harmony Area Owls will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the West Branch Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Harmony Area's tournament run continued when they took on Glendale on Saturday. Harmony Area came out on top against Glendale by a score of 60-52.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Branch, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against Moshannon Valley on Monday as West Branch made off with a 60-34 win.

West Branch's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points per game. As for Harmony Area, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Harmony Area came up short against West Branch when the teams last played back in January, falling 77-66. Can Harmony Area avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
