Baseball Recap: Perry-Lecompton Comes Up Short

Perry-Lecompton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 13-5 to the Sabetha Bluejays. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluejays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 on Thursday.

Perry-Lecompton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Sabetha, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry-Lecompton will square off against Baldwin on Monday. As for Sabetha, they will challenge St. Marys on Monday.
