Softball Recap: Lakeview Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Lakeview's hitters rose to the challenge against a Lions pitching crew that boasted an average of only 2.86 runs allowed on Monday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 10-5 win over the Lewisville Lions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Isabella Isenberg spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, Kennedy Bartlett was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Annaliese Dejulio, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple.

Lakeview's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. As for Lewisville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-6.

Coming up, Lakeview will take on Trinity Christian at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Lewisville, they will welcome Independence at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
