Volleyball Recap: Winnebago Takes a Loss

Winnebago lost against Omaha Nation on September 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Chiefs. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-12.

Cierre Vargas paced Winnebago's offense, picking up two kills. Vargas got some help from Lula DeCora and her three assists.

Winnebago's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Omaha Nation, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chiefs beat Winnebago by a score of 3-0 on Tuesday.
