Soccer Game Preview: Riverdale vs. Archbishop Chapelle

The Riverdale Rebels will square off against the Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Riverdale's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Riverdale fell victim to Willow and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to the Lions. That's two games in a row now that the Rebels have lost by exactly eight goals.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Chapelle kept a clean sheet against Cabrini on Tuesday. They blew past the Crescents 4-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chipmunks.

They hit Cabrini with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Noelle Cody, Rayleen Galarza, Maci Betz, and Zoe Bush.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Archbishop Chapelle, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14.
