Bellevue West suffers third straight loss on the road

Recap: Bellevue West Thunderbirds vs. Totino-Grace Eagles

The Bellevue West Thunderbirds pushed their score all the way to 59 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 66-59 to Totino-Grace. Bellevue West just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.

Bellevue West's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Danielle Coyer, who scored 13 points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Vanna Reitsma, who scored ten points.

Bellevue West bumped their record down to 3-3 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Totino-Grace, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Bellevue West's road trip will continue as they head out to face Benton on December 19th. Benton will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Totino-Grace, they will head out on the road to face off against Park Center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Park Center will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings (they are ranked 327th, while Totino-Grace is ranked 27th).
