Volleyball Recap: Central Spartans vs. Mount Miguel Matadors

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Monte Vista, Central was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mount Miguel Matadors by a score of 2-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Spartans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Everett Neuenschwander paced Central's offense, picking up eight kills. Neuenschwander got some help from David Lopez and his 11 assists. Lopez also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Joshua Ahumada, racking up three apiece.
