Lincoln hadn't done well against Sioux City East recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lynx skirted past the Black Raiders 12-11. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Lynx's hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Jayden (JJ) Adler was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in July of 2025. Madison Beckman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Lincoln kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Lincoln's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14. As for Sioux City East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lincoln is set to face off against their familiar foe Sergeant Bluff-Luton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sioux City East will challenge rival Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
