Basketball Game Preview: Crestview Knights vs. Spencerville Bearcats + How To Watch

Crestview is 8-2 against Spencerville since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Bearcats at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

On Tuesday, Crestview was able to grind out a solid victory over Fort Recovery, taking the game 45-33.

Kaci Gregory was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double with 15 points and nine steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Alecta Baxter, who earned four points and five rebounds.

Crestview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Spencerville faced off against Van Wert on Tuesday. The Bearcats enjoyed a cozy 59-41 win over the Cougars. The Bearcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Crestview's record is now 3-1. As for Spencerville, their record now sits at 4-1.

Crestview beat Spencerville 48-37 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
