Volleyball Recap: Willow Canyon's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Willow Canyon was the 2-0 winner over Buckeye when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks on Friday. The loss put an end to the Wildcats' undefeated start to the season.

Jada Adams paced Willow Canyon's offense, picking up ten kills. Adams got some help from Keely Blady and her 13 assists. Shia Chancellor controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Willow Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Buckeye, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Willow Canyon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Gilbert on the 30th. As for Buckeye, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Trivium Prep on the 30th.
