Basketball Recap: North Allegheny Comes Up Short

North Allegheny was the 64-60 winner over Sewickley Academy when they last played one another back in December of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The North Allegheny Tigers took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sewickley Academy on Monday. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

North Allegheny has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Sewickley Academy, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

North Allegheny will host Fox Chapel at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Sewickley Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Propel Braddock Hills at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
