Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Jefferson lost against Platte Canyon back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Saints fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 3-2. While the Saints didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Huskies 25-21 in the first set.

Jefferson wouldn't go down easily and took Platte Canyon into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-16, 25-21, 19-25, 15-13.

Jefferson dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Platte Canyon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-7.

Coincidentally, Jefferson and Platte Canyon will both be playing Arvada the next time they take the court. The Saints will head out to face the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Huskies will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
