While Thayer put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Liberty. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 15-0 win. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
McKenzie Morris made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run.
In other batting news, Thayer got a massive performance out of Kadyn Hilles, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Hilles has posted since back in March. Crystal Edwards also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
