American Heritage was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Maeser Prep Academy on Tuesday. The American Heritage Patriots blew past the Maeser Prep Academy Lions, posting a 58-26 win. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 24 points or more this season.

Maeser Prep Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Autumn Dossey, who posted eight points in addition to nine rebounds and five steals. With that strong performance, Dossey is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Klea Bokshi was another key player, putting up six points.

American Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for Maeser Prep Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American Heritage will head out to face off against Rowland Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. American Heritage is facing Rowland Hall at the right time seeing as Rowland Hall is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Maeser Prep Academy, they will head out on the road to take on American Leadership Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
