Soccer Game Preview: Norman North vs. Eisenhower

The Norman North Timberwolves will challenge the Eisenhower Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Norman North has five straight wins, Eisenhower has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Norman North's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Yukon. The result was nothing new for Norman North, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

Presley Boyd and Halley Jewell scored all three of Norman North's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Eisenhower's offense. They lost 10-0 to Choctaw on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Eisenhower have lost by exactly ten goals.

Norman North's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven contests. As for Eisenhower, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
