Tri-State Crusaders faced Morristown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The King's Crusaders blew past the Yellow Jackets 62-0. That 62 point margin sets a new team best for the King's Crusaders this season.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Rylan Kolb and Kylen Zimmerman. Kolb rushed for 100 yards and three scores on only six carries while Zimmerman threw for 114 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Zimmerman also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up 0.5 sacks, forcing one fumble, and making three total tackles in addition to snagging two interceptions.

Tri-State Crusaders' defense made their presence known, laying out the QB nine times. The heavy lifting was done by Dj Graber and Kolb, who racked up 5.5 sacks between them.

Tri-State Crusaders' victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Morristown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Tri-State Crusaders has already played their next game, a 46-22 win against Varsity Opponent on the 11th. As for Morristown, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dugger Union at 12:00 p.m. on the 18th.
