Volleyball Recap: Chariho Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Chariho lost to North Smithfield back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Chargers put the hurt on the Northmen with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-17.

Chariho got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaxson Vachon out in front who had ten digs and two aces.

Vachon wasn't the only good server: Chariho was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. The Chargers are a perfect 5-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Chariho pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for North Smithfield, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chariho is set to challenge their familiar foe La Salle Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Smithfield will face off against rival Barrington at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
