Volleyball Recap: Bret Harte Comes Up Short

Bret Harte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Linden Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-20.

Linden was led to victory by Gabby Garcia-Cisneros and Allie Kehoe. Garcia-Cisneros had eight digs and three aces, while Kehoe had nine digs and three aces. That's the most digs Kehoe has posted over her last four matchups.

Bret Harte's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Linden, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bret Harte will challenge rival Summerville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Linden is set to face off against their familiar foe Big Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
