Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Linton-Stockton). They blew past the Shakamak Lakers 15-4 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Miners in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now won seven in a row.

Linton-Stockton pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Shakamak, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Coming up, Linton-Stockton will be playing at home against Barr-Reeve at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Miners' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Shakamak, they are taking a road trip to square off against Eastern Greene at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
