Baseball Game Preview: Frankford Pioneers vs. Northeast Vikings

The Frankford Pioneers will take on the Northeast Vikings at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Frankford will be strutting in after a win while Northeast will be coming in after a defeat.

Frankford's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Carver High School of Engineering & Science. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pioneers.

The team relied heavily on Robertiel Lopez, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Reynaldo De Los Santos, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Northeast came up short against Roman Catholic on Saturday, falling 14-2. The Vikings have struggled against the Cahillite recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Calvin Castro was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Frankford, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
