Woodson's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 24-14 win over the Ballou Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Amar'E Leonard went supernova, throwing for 250 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 46 yards.

Despite the loss, Ballou saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Maximus Stovall threw for 200 yards and one TD.

Woodson's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Ballou, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Woodson will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Ballou, they will venture away from home to challenge Coolidge at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
