Baseball Recap: Miller Grove Comes Up Short

Miller Grove fell victim to Howe and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 21-0 to the Howe Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 24 runs in the game before, the Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Miller Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Howe, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Miller Grove will square off against Cooper at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Howe, they will take on Tom Bean in a tournament on Thursday. Howe knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Tom Bean likes a good challenge.
