Baseball Recap: Ouachita Parish Comes Up Short

Ouachita Parish was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of D'Arbonne Woods. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against D'Arbonne Woods this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 back in March.

Ouachita Parish's loss dropped their record down to 5-22. As for D'Arbonne Woods, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ouachita Parish will challenge Pineville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for D'Arbonne Woods, they will face off against Union Parish at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. D'Arbonne Woods' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Farmers have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
