Soccer Recap: KIPP San Jose Collegiate Takes a Loss

KIPP San Jose Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 6-1 to the Cindy Avitia Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolfpack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in January.

Their goal came courtesy of Juan Vazquez, who's now up to five this season.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Cindy Avitia, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, KIPP San Jose Collegiate will host Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something KIPP San Jose Collegiate surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cindy Avitia, they are taking a road trip to take on The Nueva School at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Cindy Avitia's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
