Baseball Recap: Sevier County Comes Up Short

Sevier County lost against West back in April of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sevier County Smoky Bears lost 10-4 to the West Rebels. The matchup marked the Smoky Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sevier County's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for West, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Sevier County and West will both be playing Morristown-Hamblen West the next time they take the field. West will head out to face Morristown-Hamblen West at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Sevier County will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
