Volleyball Recap: Aniguiin Comes Up Short

Aniguiin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Shishmaref Northern Lights. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Northern Lights this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat two weeks ago.

Aniguiin was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-23, 25-18.

Aniguiin's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Shishmaref, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

Aniguiin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Shishmaref has already played their next match (against Shaktoolik), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
