Softball Recap: Sotomayor Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

After losing to Warren the last time they met, Sotomayor decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The WILDCATS came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 7-4 on Saturday.

Sotomayor pushed their record up to 9-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Warren, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, Sotomayor and Warren will both be playing Harlan the next time they take the field. The Warriors will host the Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the WILDCATS will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
