Football Game Preview: Fort Lee Bridgemen vs. Tenafly Tigers

The Fort Lee Bridgemen are taking a road trip to face off against the Tenafly Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Lee is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

If Fort Lee beats Tenafly with 42 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Bridgemen breezed past Kearny to the tune of 42-12 on Friday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-6.

Luke Senatore continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 103 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries, while also throwing for 150 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Tenafly, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They snuck past Fair Lawn with a 19-15 win on Saturday.

Fort Lee's record is now 5-0. As for Tenafly, their record now sits at 2-4.

Fort Lee couldn't quite get it done against Tenafly when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 25-14. Can the Bridgemen avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
