Volleyball Recap: Kimberly Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Arrowhead

Kimberly faced Arrowhead in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Papermakers fell just short of the Warhawks by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Saturday.

Leading Arrowhead to victory were Siena MacCudden and Georgia House. MacCudden had 13 digs and four assists, while House had eight digs. MacCudden has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more digs the last nine times she's played.

With the loss, Kimberly broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 20-9. As for Arrowhead, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-11.

Kimberly didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Waunakee on the 27th. As for Arrowhead, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Wisconsin Lutheran on the 27th.
