Hoover has gone 8-2 against Sissonville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hoover Huskies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sissonville Indians at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Hoover is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Riverside just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 61-51 to the Warriors. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Huskies came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Warriors are ranked 75th).

Meanwhile, Sissonville came up short against Ripley on Tuesday and fell 52-40. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sissonville's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Hoover, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2.

Hoover was able to grind out a solid win over Sissonville when the teams last played back in January, winning 44-32. Does Hoover have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sissonville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
