Basketball Game Preview: Redmond Mustangs vs. Issaquah Eagles

Redmond hasn't had much luck against Issaquah recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Mustangs will face off against the Eagles at 2:00 p.m. Redmond is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.6 points per game this season.

Redmond took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against North Creek as they made off with a 63-38 win. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won four in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Redmond to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daisy Walker, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 boards. Those 16 points gave Walker a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie West, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Redmond was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They are 7-3 when they've passed the ball that well.

Meanwhile, Issaquah was able to grind out a solid win over Skyline on Tuesday, taking the game 52-42.

Redmond's record now sits at 10-13. As for Issaquah, their record is now 13-10.

Redmond came up short against Issaquah when the teams last played back in January, falling 66-55. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
