Volleyball Recap: Armijo Beats Valley for Their Fifth Straight Win

Armijo had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They put the hurt on the Valley Vikings with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Armijo walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-18.

Armijo's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Valley, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Armijo is set to take on their familiar foe Florin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Valley will challenge rival West Campus at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
