Baseball Recap: Horizon Comes Up Short

Horizon lost against Fairview back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks fell 12-9 to the Knights. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parker Aaron made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Marsh, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Fairview, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Horizon will challenge Douglas County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fairview, they will take on Rock Canyon at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
