Softball Recap: Seaman Takes a Loss

Seaman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunderbirds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Seaman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Warren, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Seaman's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Shawnee Heights, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Seaman beat the Thunderbirds by a score of 7-6 later that day.
