Football Game Recap: Newcastle vs. Wheatland

Wheatland had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Newcastle 49-12. That result is just more of the same for Wheatland, who also won the last time these teams played.

The win got Wheatland out to a 1-0 start for the season. The loss dropped Newcastle's record to 0-2.

Wheatland will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Upton/Sundance at 7:00 PM. As for Newcastle, they will face off against Glenrock. Newcastle continues their travels as they hit the road for the second straight game.
