Rogers's game on Friday was all tied up 26-26 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 71-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Auburn Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Trojans are ranked tenth).

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Avary, who went 8-for-9 to rack up 18 points and five boards.
