Football Game Preview: Barlow Bruins vs. Central Catholic Rams

Barlow is 0-10 against Central Catholic since September of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Bruins will take on the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Barlow has given up an average of 32.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Barlow and Clackamas have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Bruins came up short against the Cavaliers, falling 41-21.

Meanwhile, while Central Catholic put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Reynolds. The Rams blew past the Raiders 57-0. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Barlow's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Central Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Barlow took a serious blow against Central Catholic in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, falling 65-0. Can the Bruins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
