Volleyball Recap: Chase County Comes Up Short

Chase County lost against Gothenburg back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Longhorns came up short against the Swedes, falling 3-0.

Chase County was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Gothenburg work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-20, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Chase County still got an impressive performance from Aria McNair, who had 13 digs and one assist. Hayley Rusher also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Chase County's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Gothenburg, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-8.

Looking ahead, Chase County will take on Chadron at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gothenburg, they will square off against Ogallala on Tuesday.
