Pleasant Grove is 8-2 against Pittsburg since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Pleasant Grove Hawks will welcome the Pittsburg Pirates at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Pleasant Grove and five for Pittsburg.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 91-54, which was the final score in Pleasant Grove's tilt against Paris on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 514th, while the Wildcats are ranked 216th).

Meanwhile, Pittsburg was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 58-52 to Bonham.

Pittsburg now has a losing record at 14-15. As for Pleasant Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
