The Purdue Broad Ripple Lynx got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Indiana Math & Science Academy North Knights' three. Indiana Math & Science Academy North were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Purdue Broad Ripple earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

Indiana Math & Science Academy North is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-4-1. As for Purdue Broad Ripple, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-8.
