Baseball Recap: Clark Takes a Loss

After flying high against Tivy on Friday, Clark came back down to earth. The Clark Cougars came up short against the Alexander Bulldogs on Saturday, falling 17-1.

Clark saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Ramirez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Clark's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Alexander, their record now sits at 8-5.

Coming up, Clark will host LEE at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Clark is facing LEE at the right time seeing as LEE is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Alexander, they will take on Central Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alexander will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
