Softball Recap: Quincy Jackrabbits vs. Selah Vikings

Quincy extended their losing streak to 15 on Tuesday, dropping them down to 1-15. They lost 18-2 to the Selah Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 on Tuesday.

As for Selah, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won 14 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

For Selah's part, Aspin Grubenhoff was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Grubenhoff has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
