Basketball Recap: Bagley Takes a Loss

Bagley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt an 86-34 defeat at the hands of the Ada-Borup Cougars. The contest marked the Flyers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Anders Tinjum went supernova for Ada-Borup, going 11 of 15 on his way to 26 points and six assists. What's more, Tinjum also posted a 73% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cadyn Dahl, who posted 17 points along with five assists and five boards.

Bagley's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Ada-Borup, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Bagley has already played their next contest (against Kelliher/Northome), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ada-Borup, they will face off against Lake Park-Audubon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ada-Borup is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69.8 points per game this season.
