Basketball Recap: Falls Lake Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Wake Academy, Falls Lake was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 61-52 victory over the Clover Garden School Grizzlies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Firebirds also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Falls Lake's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Clover Garden School, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Falls Lake will head out to take on Vance Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clover Garden School, they are taking a road trip to challenge Graham at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
