Volleyball Recap: Burkeville Comes Up Short

Burkeville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss last Tuesday.

Burkeville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Hull-Daisetta, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Burkeville and High Island will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hull-Daisetta, they will head out to square off against West Hardin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
