Volleyball Recap: Fulton Takes a Loss

Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Sherman Oaks CES Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

While Fulton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Sherman Oaks CES' winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-22.

Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Sherman Oaks CES, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Fulton has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Monroe on the 3rd. As for Sherman Oaks CES, after both having extra time off, they and Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
