Volleyball Recap: Sun Prairie West Comes Up Short

If Sun Prairie West was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Madison West last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolves came up short against the Verona Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 25-13.

Sari Marks paced Sun Prairie West's offense, picking up 11 kills. Marks got some help from Bridget Drake and her 13 assists.

Sun Prairie West's loss dropped their record down to 20-15. As for Verona, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-5.

As of now, neither Sun Prairie West nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
