Football Recap: South Hills Huskies vs. Diamond Bar Brahmas

South Hills was the 30-29 winner over Diamond Bar when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies took a 32-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brahmas on Saturday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, South Hills saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jaylen Lang rushed for 100 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Diamond Bar to victory, but perhaps none more so than Richard Perry, who rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 48 receiving yards and one TD. Dominic Tortorelli was another key back, gaining 167 total yards and a touchdown.

South Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Diamond Bar, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-5.
