The Montgomery Central Indians waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-42 win over Sycamore. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Montgomery Central has posted yet this season.

Montgomery Central was led to victory by Christian Fox and Drew Yarbrough. Fox scored 18 points along with five rebounds, while Yarbrough scored 21 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Yarbrough has scored all season.

Montgomery Central pushed their record up to 8-9 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Sycamore, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

Montgomery Central will play host again and welcome Fairview, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sycamore, they will head out on the road to take on Creek Wood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Creek Wood has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
